‘He’s not lucky to be alive’ | Vets represent care for doggy that killed 8 coyotes guarding sheep

Nurses said Casper lost his tail and had significant wounds to on his back and neck, and wasn’t even found until two days after the attack by a pack of 11 coyotes. Despite being only a 20-month-old Great Pyrenees, the livestock herding dog at a home in Decatur displayed his heroic actions by protecting a herd of sheep last month.

Awwww poor buddy. 😢 I hope he recovers as well as he can…the fact that a dog was able to kill 8 coyotes is amazing

He is only 20 months old. That’s still a puppy that dug deep to do his duty. Well done warrior

I hope his owner get another or two more guard dogs to help Casper. He wouldn’t have had a hard time defending the sheeps if there were more of him.😢
